The PTA welcomes all parent volunteers! There are dozens of opportunities throughout the school year. Complete the volunteer form to receive emails from the PTA when we need volunteers.
Volunteers are required to register with Berkeley County School District every year, even if you have volunteered in years past. Click below to register so they can complete a background check.
Teachers recruit Room Parents at the beginning of the year to serve as the parent liaisons for their class and lend special help to the teacher like making copies, communication announcements with parents, classroom parties, organizing gifts from parents for teacher birthdays and staff appreciation week, recruiting volunteers for field trips, etc. Room parents are also encouraged to coordinate outside of school meet ups to build community within the class and school.
Join the Executive Board of Officers and Directors, recruitment takes place every February for new volunteers to learn more about becoming a director or officer with the PTA. It takes a village! And we love our parent volunteers. Email us for more information!
